We have some good news for you!
We collected all the best practices on how you can be more self-sufficient with urban food production.
On this day, we will present to you in practice how to grow as much of your own food as possible – indoor and outdoor in your city home.
Many of us dream of living on a farm and pick fresh fruits and veggies every day, but in reality, very few of us will ever move to the countryside.
Where you live doesn’t determine what you can do. Growing microgreens or harvesting mushrooms can be achieved in any urban homestead.
Design your space to maximize the food production and live in harmony with the edible green around you.
9:30-10:00 introduction, urban food production possibilities
10:00-11:30 indoor farming from microgreens to mushrooms (with take home growkits)
11:30-12:00 lunch break, provided by the Planteen
12:00-13:00 city permaculture
13:00-14:00 container gardening
14:00-15:00 healing herbs (take home your own organic teamix)
15:00-16:30 design your space to maximize growing potential
A delicious and healthy plant-based lunch will be provided to participants by @The Planteen, the country’s first plant-based canteen and café located in Graphisoft Park.
Fee: 15,000 HUF for the day, which includes the whole day program, the plant-based lunch and your own growkit that you can take home.
